Like a set of scales for the director, Composition is method used to create extraordinary performance moments that can be developed into full scale devised shows or used to explore concepts and/or written text, working with creative depth and impulse.

 

Building on the language of the Viewpoints, Composition methodology has been developed by Anne Bogart and Zen Zen Zo to create ‘wow moments’ on stage. They are a safe and exploratory step in the process of creating physical theatre performance work.
